The Popular Show Campaign 4 Reveals the Soldiers Group

Since the launch of Campaign 4, new Dungeon Master Brennan Mulligan has kept fans guessing with deep backstory, a diverse cast of characters, and a exciting storyline featuring divine entities, evil spirits, and dark forces growing in influence within Dol-Makjar.

Heads-up: Revealing details for Episode 3 of the new season are included.

The Warrior Group Unveiled

The third episode concluded with a dramatic pause and revealed the premier party of adventurers who will separate from the central cast to begin their own adventure, apart from the remaining groups.

This warrior group consists of Teor Pridesire (played by Travis Willingham), the agile character (the talented performer), Tyranny (the cast member), the cleric (Sam), and the mysterious adventurer (Robbie Daymond).

Dividing the Cast

Considering a large ensemble, it was clear from the outset that maintaining everyone at one table would be unfeasible.

That’s why, the initial installments of Campaign 4 serve as an Overture, connecting the individual narratives before dividing into three smaller tables: Fighters, Planners, and Seekers.

What Defines the Combat Party

Per Brennan Lee Mulligan, the combat-focused party is for participants who enjoy a classically intense fight-heavy gameplay experience where diplomatic options are scarce.

Upon first impression, characters like the squeamish cleric the cleric might look out of place, but the developments of episode 3 make it clear why these particular heroes are best suited for the combat party.

Why They Must Go

To begin with, the party knows exactly where to proceed after a violent first encounter with The Crow Keepers.

Casimir of Thjazi—whose death kicked off the story’s plot—used The Crow Keepers for his selfish purposes, entering Thjazi’s hideout, assaulting Thimble, and taking all the magical artifacts to dispose of.

The traitor then paid off his liabilities and ran away to a fortified location in Gormalay, Timmony, above the city, with Teor’s brother pursuing him.

Character Drivers

Moreover, each member has a individual motive to depart the metropolitan area:

  • The agile hero, as Thjazi’s partner and best friend, desires vengeance.
  • The adventurer is familiar with the northern area and cautions that it is a hostile place.
  • Tyranny and Wicander, having resisted his house’s orders to execute the fighter and instead rescued him, have no safe haven.
  • However, their reputation as important members in House Halovar could enable the group reach places they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Moreover, The fighter swore a unbreakable promise to The cleric for his deliverance and will now accompany him everywhere.

Pursued by Authorities

Lastly, all of them are hunted by the authorities that rule the setting for a variety of reasons, making lingering locally no longer safe:

  • Thimble and Kattigan are known criminals.
  • The strong figure and The cleric defied House Halovar and the army of fiends they are aligned with.
  • The target is wanted dead by House Halovar.

This leaves them little choice but to travel to the northern region in search of the antagonist.

Future Episodes

Based on the latest episode’s follow-up content, we learn that the Soldiers table will be absent next week, leaving the other eight players to assemble the Seekers and Planners parties.

Viewers can look forward to finding out which characters will be assigned to which table in the season’s concluding setup installment, streaming live on October 24.
